


District Manager
Maximising sales & cost control, we'll depend on you to optimise profit performance in a specific district by managing resources and developing the branch management teams. This role will focus on the coaching, leadership & development of people to enable a high performance culture.
You’ll be primarily responsible for up to 35 Branch Managers and indirectly responsible for all other branch staff.
Providing coaching and feedback, motivating individuals to achieve high performance and ensuring appropriate vacancy and succession planning processes are in place to reach performance targets, will also be part of your responsibilities. From the recruitment, retention and development of branch management teams and ensuring performance management principles are robustly deployed, this is a challenging and varied post. If you are particularly skilled and enthusiastic you can progress to a Regional Manager post in just two years.

For this role you will need:
A minimum of two years’ retail management experience, ideally multi-site
A proven track record of consistently applying company procedures and gaining buy in of Branch Managers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to influence effectively at all levels.
The ability to plan, organise and delegate effectively
The ability to recruit, interview, develop and lead others
A valid drivers license and be mobile to work throughout the estate
The aspiration to develop product knowledge
Education to A level standard or equivalent
